Welcome to J&M Crane & Transport, one of the leading Crane Hire and Contract Lift Companies in the South East of England. 

We are a family owned and run business who has been supplying a service to the crane and haulage industry since the mid 1950's. Based in Gravesend, Kent, we are ideally placed to services the South East of England including London with good access to the M25 and M20. We often travel further afield for larger projects and more long term jobs.

FORS Silver Compliant Fleet of the latest EM5 (Tier 4f) Mobile Cranes including Tadano ATF70G-4, ATF100-4.1, Grove GMK5250L, and Euro 6 Lorry loaders including Fassi F2150 (215t) and Artic Units with a variety of Steering and Extendable trailers for your next abnormal load.

Our operators and vehicles are approved, inducted and cleared for work on the largest and latest infrastructure projects and construction sites, including HS2.

We pride ourselves on running a modern and reliable fleet, utilising some of the latest technology available. We supply from small City Cranes up to 500t Mobile Cranes and everything in-between! We will also source and supply larger machines should it be required. We offer our cranes on both a CPA Hire Only basis, or on a full Contract Lift basis complying with BS7121 and LOLER Regulations.

Aside from our impressive crane fleet, we also run a fleet of lorry loaders, ranging from 19tpm Rigid Vehicles all the way up to artic hiabs and our Fassi F2150 215t Lorry loader which has a massive max radius of 37m! This nicely complements our heavy haulage and abnormal loads division and is available with a selection of trailers including Step frames, Trombones, Extendable Low Loaders and All Steering Trailers.

Extending our services even further, we have an experienced 20+ years in the Plant Handling and Machinery Movement Field, where we can Skate, Skid, Jack and manoeuvre just about anything with our large range of tackle and handling equipment. From small AHU's right up to Full Scale Factory Moves across the UK, we really can offer a full turnkey package.

We supply our services across the board, be it smaller construction builds or large scale engineering projects, we will have a solution for you. We can also offer to take control of the Traffic Management and Road Closures where necessary.
